Context:
Collecting and using data to build evidence based learning outcomes remains one of the key aspects of Akshara Foundation’s programmes and interventions. At the same time it is essential to build framework for incorporating consent of parents and children, ensuring protection of children data, developing measures for opt-in & opt-out and other practices impacting child rights. Moreover, with the advent of GDPR and COPPA, children’s personal data merits for particular protection and organizations working with children need to proactively comply with these recent legislative guidelines.
