Kabeer is Climate Action - Consultant at CivicDataLab, working at the intersection of urban and regional development, social science, and climate change. His work focuses on using research, data, and creative approaches to make complex issues more accessible and actionable.

He has conceptualised and managed research, pedagogical, and engagement programmes across climate action, open contracting, and urban and regional development. His work spans research and knowledge-building, citizen engagement, and communicating complex datasets and ideas through multiple formats - including blogs, reports, essays, stories, maps, illustrations, 3D modelling, lectures, and workshops.

Before CivicDataLab, Kabeer worked as a Researcher & Programme Manager at Hyderabad Urban Lab and as an Assistant Professor at Manipal School of Architecture & Planning, bringing together academic, research, and practice-oriented experience.

He holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture. A chai addict who loves finding simple ways to communicate complex ideas, Kabeer enjoys walking through the narrow streets of old cities, hiking in nature, sketching, reading, and occasionally binge-watching mind-numbing series.
