Ahsnat is an Associate Researcher at CivicDataLab, working at the intersection of law, policy, data, and emerging technologies. Her work focuses on rights-based AI governance, with particular emphasis on gender justice and disability inclusion. As part of the Digital Public Goods & Infrastructure (DPG&I) initiative, she contributes to research, governance frameworks, and ecosystem engagement around responsible AI and public sector technologies, aiming to embed fairness, accountability, and accessibility into technology design and deployment. She is a graduate of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and is committed to advancing public interest values in emerging technology governance through an intersectional lens.
